DRY FISH CURRY WITH BRINJAL & POTATO

This is a traditional dry fish recipe of dhaka bangladesh..
This dry fish is called "Chyapa shutki" which is benificial for malaria fever, flu etc.

Ingredients:
4 dry fish ( Chyapa shutki)
3 slitted green chillies
2 tablespoon crushed garlic
1 big onion chopped
2 brinjal cut in to your desire shape
3-4 big potatoes cut in to your desire shape
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
Salt to taste
Oil as required

Mrthod:
1. Heat oil & add the crushed garlic saute for somtimes then add the chopped onion & slitted green chillies. Saute well untill the onion become light brown colour.
2. Then add the dry fish & fry well.
3. After that add the powdered masalas along with salt. Cooked well by adding little by little water.
4. When the masalas cooked add the potatoes saute. Add little bit water & cover it for 10 minutes.
5. When the potatoes become 60% tender & soft, add the brinjal. Mix them well & again cover it for 10 mintes.
6. The yummy dry fish curry is ready to serve with steamed rice.
