Khajuri is a yummy snacks for tea time or any other occassion. Made with plain flour, wheat flour, semolina, oil, ghee, egg, sugar, salt, baking soda, fennel seeds & milk. It can be store in an air tight container for 1 month.
Ingredients:
1 cup plain flour
1/2 cup semolina
2 tablespoon of wheat flour
1 cup powdered or granulated sugar
Pinch of salt
Pinch of baking soda
Oil & ghee as required
Milk as required
1 tsp fennel powder
1 egg
Method:
1. Sieve all the dry ingredients together & mix well.
2. Then add oil & ghee as required. Mix them well, the ingredients should be like bread crumbs.
3. Then add the egg and mix well.
4. Add little bit milk if required & make a hard dough. Rest it for 30 minutes.
5. Roll it in 1 inch thick diameter & cut into diamond shape. Deep fry them in low flame. Let it cool completely store in an air tight container.
