HONEY CAKE


 This honey cake is so soft and fantastic. Not only kids but also yongstars are like this cake.. For the great combination of fruit jam & honey makes this cake super yumm.

Ingredients:
3/4 cup- curd
1 cup + 2 tbsp- sugar
3/4 - cup oil
1 tsp - vanilla extract
2 cup - plain flour
1/4 tsp -baking soda
1 tsp- baking powder
Milk - if required
1/4 cup + 1 tbsp- honey
1/2 cup- fruit jam
1/4 cup water
2 tbsp- dessicated coconut

Method:
1. Take curd, sugar, oil & vanilla extract & whisk for 5 minutes.
2. Sift plain flour, baking soda & baking powder into it. Mix well by cut & fold method. Do not over mixed.
3. Add milk if required & make a lump free smooth batter.
4. Preheat & bake at 180 degree c for 40 minutes.
5. Cool completely & prick & make holes & keep aside.
6. On the other hand take a pan & add 2 tbsp sugar for sticky. Cool completely & add 1/4 cul honey into it & mix well. Pour this syrup generously on to the cake.
7. Now, take half cup of fruit jam, 1 tbsp honey & mix well until jam melts well. Do not over heat.
8. Spread this honey-jam mixture on to the cake & make a thick layer.
9. Spread some desiccated coconut for garnishing.
