Fenugreek or methi is beneficial ingredient for hair, stomach & skin.
Ingredients:
2 cup fenugreek or methi
2 tablespoons mustard oil
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
2 dry red chillies
Some curry leaves
1 chopped onion
4 chopped green chillies
1 inch chopped ginger
1/2 teaspoon garlic paste
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
Salt to taste
1. Soak the fenugreek seeds whole night & drain the water in the morning.
2. Now heat musterd oil in a pan.
3. Add cumin seeds, red chillies, curry leaves & let them crackle.
4. Now add chopped onion, chopped green chillies, chopped ginger & garlic paste. Saute all the ingredients nicely for 10 minutes.
5. Then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder.. cooked them well by adding water.
6. Now add the soaked fenugreek seeds & salt to taste. Add some water & simmer it until it become tender. Enjoy it with roti or rice..
