PUNJABI KADHI PAKODA

Kadhi Pakora consists of a diluted gravy based on sour yoghurt thickened with Besan (Gram Flour) which is then simmered with Pakoras(fritters). It is the perfect comfort food goes with hot steamed rice.


Ingredients:
1 cup curd
3 cup water
1/2 cup gram flour
Salt to taste
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp cumin powder
2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
Some oil
3-4 slitted green chillies
3 dry red chillies
2 chopped onion
1/2 tsp fenel seeds

1. Mix curd, water, gram flour, salt to taste, turmeric powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder & ginger- garlic paste.. keep aside.
2. On the other hand make onion pakoda & keep aside.
3. Now heat some oil & add some masterd seeds, slitted green chillies, dry red chillies, let it splutter.
4. Then add chopped onion & fry them. Then add the curd gram flour mixture . Saute  slowly in low flame. When it become thick switch off the flame.
5. Before 10 minutes of serve add the pakodas in this kadhi.
6. For tempering:- Heat some ghee or oil. Add dry red chillies, musterd seeds, fennel seeds, curry leaves & hing.. let it splutter & pour this tempering  on the kadhi pakoda..
