I love all the dishes of dry fish specially dry fish chutney. Very easy to make & goes well with daal-rice or khichdi.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup small dry fishes
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp coriander seeds
8-9 dry red chillies ( or according to your taste)
10 garlic cloves
1 onion diced
1/2 inches ginger
Salt to taste
Oil for roast the ingredients
Method:
1. Wash the dry fishes with warm water & roast for 10 minutes in less oil & keep aside.
2. Now again in the same pan add some oil. Add the cumin seeds, coriander seeds, dry red chillies, garlic, ginger & the diced onion. Roast them well untill a beautiful aroma comes out. Let it be cool.
3. Now grind all the ingredients along with salt. Dry fish chutney is ready to eat.
